Enderby Park and Ride, Leicester
This award winning scheme was completed in November 2009.
The new £9.2 million site, near Enderby, is a joint venture between Leicester City and Leicestershire County Council and picked up the Sustainability Award at the East Midlands Constructing Excellence Awards on 15th October.
Innovations include the sustainable drainage system (SUDS) for the parking area where there are rainwater storage tanks which feed water into a balancing pond to prevent flooding and create new opportunities for wildlife habitats.
EH Smith were called upon to source and supply the sustainable urban drainage system, rainwater storage tanks and the permeable paving.

- Our range of Airtightness seals and membranes? Research shows that up to half of all heat loss in buildings can be due to unintended air leakage and uncontrolled ventilation. Insulation levels have increased substantially over the last few decades, but heated air is still escaping and can be pinpointed as a majorsource of energy loss. Our range of seals and membranes address this issue.
- Case Studies: We have undertaken thousands of projects over the last 85 years, some of the more recent ones are listed in our case studies section .
